Welcome to the final day of cuts! The San Francisco 49ers have until 1:00 PM today (Saturday) to cut down from 90 to 53 players. As of Friday, the 49ers had cut 14 different players. They have 24 left to go to get to the 53.
This is where things get difficult, a lot of the easy ones like Joe Williams were made on Friday, but some other ones like the releases of Aldrick Robinson came as well. That’s not the last wide receiver cut as the decisions to that position might be the most difficult for the team.
