The San Francisco 49ers are in a strange spot heading into April’s NFL Draft. They have the No. 31 overall pick but, after that, they won’t make a selection until the fifth round.
That equation is likely to change with a trade or two in the coming weeks. I expect the 49ers to select at least once on Day Two of the draft and then a few times on Day Three.
