SANTA CLARA -- After being placed on injured reserve in each of the past three seasons, Jordan Reed finally seems to have found health and happiness with the 49ers.
Reed started his NFL tenure in Washington as a rookie in Kyle Shanahan’s offense. After battling several injuries, including sitting out the entire 2019 season, Reed revealed his future in Santa Clara almost didn’t come to fruition.
“I definitely thought about hanging it up after last season,” Reed. “It was when I saw the Super Bowl that really kind of ignited me again. I want to play in the big games again.
