The San Francisco 49ers are headed into free agency next week without any quarterbacks on the roster, but that does not bother John Lynch. The 49ers new general manager told the media on Thursday that in some ways it is liberating to not have a quarterback on the roster.
“We’ve got some great options at our disposal. A lot of people look at it like ‘oh my gosh, you don’t have any quarterbacks’ but that also is somewhat liberating in that you can create this thing in that position that is so critical in the way that you want it.
