SANTA CLARA — Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo said he’s happy with the way the rehabilitation has gone on his surgically repaired left knee over the last three months but wasn’t yet sure when he could start throwing again.
Garoppolo, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee Sept. 23 in a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, met with reporters Monday morning in what’s become an all-too-familiar routine for the 49ers the day after the end of the regular season. The 49ers went 4-12 to finish third in the NFC West and miss the playoffs for the fifth straight years.
