The 49ers quarterback appeared in an 89-second YouTube video on Friday with his father, Tony, a retired electrician, to recognize national signing day for high school students entering trade professions.
“Today, May 8th, we’ve been looking forward to helping Klein Tools celebrate the second annual SkillsUSA national signing day for the trades,” Jimmy G said in the video. “Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 pandemic and resulting school closures across the country have forced cancelation of staged planned events.
“We just want to send this message to let them know how tremendously proud we are of all of them.
