Jim Harbaugh says Michigan should ‘build a statue’ for Tom Brady: ‘He’s synonymous with Babe Ruth’

Former San Francisco 49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh thinks it’s time the school at which he currently coaches, the University of Michigan, erects a statue honoring New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

Brady, a San Mateo native, played quarterback for Michigan from 1996 to 1999. Following the Patriots Super Bowl win earlier this month, Brady became the record holder for most Super Bowl wins (six) by a player.

In conversation on a podcast called “Attack Each Day,” Harbaugh talked about his alma mater’s former star player, saying he “lapped the field in football” and he’s “synonymous” with other sports giants like Babe Ruth and Michael Jordan.
