As the San Francisco 49ers prepare for the 2024 NFL Draft, there’s a distinct possibility of bringing the son of red and gold royalty up to the Bay Area.
Brenden Rice, the son of NFL Hall of Famer and 49ers legend Jerry Rice, had a one-word reaction on his Instagram story to a projection of going to the 49ers, his father’s old team:
Rice saw the projection thanks to a fan edit on Instagram, but this isn’t coming from out of nowhere. The Athletic dropped a three-round mock draft on the Monday after the Super Bowl, which the 49ers lost in overtime, and predicted that the 49ers would select Rice late in the third round with the 98th pick in the draft.
