The San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers released their inactives for Week 1 and it’s about what you expect. Wide receivers Trent Taylor and Jalen Hurd will not be playing as will tight end Kaden Smith.
Jason Verrett is also listed as an inactive. This was a potential issue going into the week many were hopeful that the cornerback would have a shot at playing. This would paved the way for Ahkello Witherspoon to start opposite Richard Sherman.
Jimmie Ward also won’t be playing but that was somewhat expected since his injury happened early this week.
