At least where helmets are concerned.
In an interview before his team’s exhibition game at Denver on Monday, 49ers left tackle Joe Staley told James Palmer of the NFL Network that he had his own issues when he switched helmets before last season.
49ers LT Joe Staley had worn the same helmet as AB since 2003, with a very short unsuccessful switch in 2012, and said he loved the helmet and to a degree understands why AB doesn’t want to switch. Staley wasnt happy, but understood and did switch to another helmet.
