The buzz in the air is palpable. Even though the San Francisco 49ers only went 4-12 last season, there is only optimism for the Niners’ future. Great strides from players like tight end George Kittle and defensive tackle Deforest Buckner, as well as the many injuries that plagued the team, have most fans believing that 2019 will be very different.
But will it be different?
The 49ers have not had a winning season since 2013, and every time you think the team takes a step forward, they take two steps back the next year.
