San Francisco 49ers veteran kicker Robbie Gould is struggling quite a bit this season.
Gould, who signed a massive four-year, $19 million extension with the Niners last offseason, missed another field goal during San Francisco’s 9-0 Week 7 victory over the Washington Redskins. And while he admitted to reporters he slipped on the miss, amid a rain-soaked and sloppy FedEx Field, the gaffe marked seventh failed field-goal try on the year through six games.
“I slid underneath it a little too much,” Gould told reporters after the game.
