Everyone on the 49ers sideline was feeling a little giddy after the team’s win over Washington put them at 6-0 for the first time since 1990. But only one used that giddy joy to crash quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo’s postgame interview.
Fox Sports cameras caught tight end George Kittle staring down the lens before waving and mouthing, “Hi, Mom!” as the unsuspecting Garoppolo conducted his media duties.
Although it was a slog in the at-times pouring rain, the 49ers pulled out a 9-0 win at FedEx Field in Maryland. They didn’t score a touchdown and rarely got close to the red zone, but the effort was enough to keep them undefeated.
