49ers tight end Vernon Davis has showed up early for this year's off-season activities and the reports have been pretty much positive about how he's worked hard and become more assertive as a leader. He had a down year last year due partly to injuries, and even when he was active, never seemed to get into the full flow of the offense. It would be a tremendous boost to the new look offense should he return to his former Pro-Bowl form.
Of course, he is also still actively promoting his brand by making appearances on TV especially the game show circuit.
