Next week I have to remember to put “2019” instead of “2018.”
Welcome to the final weekend of the San Francisco 49ers season. Yes, we had expectations for something more, but it just wasn’t meant to be. So now we’ll watch the team dance with the Los Angeles Rams in a final game that has playoff implications for the other guys (READ: get destroyed) while the 49ers in turn get to see where they are picking on the draft board.
Perhaps that last detail is for the best. The 49ers have few picks in the 2019 draft and they need a pass rusher among other pieces, still.
