It’s post draft day and now we can get to looking at training camp and what the 90-man roster will shape up to be. As far as the 49ers’ haul during the draft, it appears to be kind of mixed. Some think they made the right decisions based on the roster, while others are wondering what the hell the 49ers did after the Deebo Samuel pick.
I’m somewhat in the middle. I get a lot of the moves, but I keep telling myself “I hope it works out.” I do know that the 49ers have a surplus of safeties, which explains the lack of drafting one, but last year they ran out of all of them and had backups of backups playing.
