Do the right thing. Something that seems so simple yet is such a tough concept for many to grasp. Over the weekend, two ex-49ers were on the opposite ends of this. Former 49ers assistant Keanon Lowe tackled a gunman, which prevented a school shooting on Friday. Lowe was a former football player at the University of Oregon. He is currently a football coach and security guard at Parkrose High School in Portland, Oregon.
Lowe is a real-life hero. He sacrificed his life for someone else. Lowe didn’t do it for publicity. He did it because it was the right thing to do.
