The return of Jimmy Garoppolo is the single most important storyline for the 49ers heading into training camp. After he went down in Week 3 last season, the 49ers’ hopes of a playoff push was over. The 49ers need to see Jimmy play a full season with Kyle Shanahan to know that they have the right guy to be their franchise quarterback.
