Since the final gun ended the 49ers season in Philadelphia the conversation has been which quarterback will lead the team in 2023, Trey Lance or Brock Purdy.
George Kittle joined Von Miller for The Von Cast on Thursday morning at the Super Bowl. Miller asked the 49ers tight end if Purdy is the future of the 49ers.
“Trey Lance is still there. Trey unfortunately hasn’t gotten a fair shot at being an NFL quarterback yet,” responded Kittle. “He got a full rain game monsoon versus the Bears, and he got hurt in the second game. Trey’s still got plenty of talent, he just needs to get out there and play.
