It’s tough to understand the value of a player truly. As a fan, it was probably tough to watch the San Francisco 49ers release, Jeff Wilson, despite the talent ahead of him on the depth chart. Wilson ended up going unclaimed and landing on the 49ers practice squad.
During the past couple of days, four players that were on the Niners roster have either signed or visited with other teams. Former 2016 first-round pick Joshua Garnett visited the Seattle Seahawks. Garnett left without a deal, as far as I know, but as long as we’re all aware now that he’s no longer with the Niners, the next team Garnett suits up for he’ll remain fully healthy and never miss another snap.
