On Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football broadcast, the former San Francisco 49ers Pro Bowl cornerback discussed the team keeping both Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance on the roster.
“It’s the most awkward situation I’ve ever heard of,” Sherman said in his analyst debut. “It’s like a couple being divorced, and the divorced wife staying in the house while the husband gets re-married.
