It's been nearly three months since Chris Borland walked away from a promising NFL career.
But the All-Rookie linebacker isn't questioning his decision to retire on March 16, according to his father, Jeff.
“I think he’s every bit as confident, if not more. There’s no second-guessing, no regret at this point,” Jeff Borland told The Boston Globe on Friday.
In the time since he retired, Borland has been meeting with brain doctors and researchers all over the country to discuss head injuries, according to the newspaper.
“I think that he’s finding that there’s still a disconnect between the activity — the practice and the games, how much contact there is — and the people that are doing the science,” Jeff Borland told The Globe.
