San Francisco 49ers fans celebrated the team’s defensive effort that helped the Niners to a 31-17 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday in their season opener.
But there wasn’t much to celebrate during the first half, which ended with the 49ers down 7-6 to the Bucs and had fans calling the game a “trainwreck” and a “dumpster fire.”
The Niners came back in the second half, though, on the back of the team’s secondary, which notched two interceptions for touchdowns.
