San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has said before that his job isn't that difficult, and that playing quarterback in the NFL is probably easier than playing in college.
"Kyle [Shanahan] calls a great game plan. I just gotta go through my progression, throw checkdowns to Deebo [Samuel] and Christian [McCaffrey], and they make guys miss," he said last week. "For me, it's nice. I just gotta distribute it to guys, and they come up with all the yards and stuff, which is fun to watch."
At the risk of making too much of one quote, that might be the humblest line in QB history.
