SANTA CLARA — Elvis Dumervil, after what will go down as the final game of a NFL career, knew what a “cool deal” he accomplished in the 49ers’ season-ending win last New Year’s Eve at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
And he waited until the final snap to do it: He sacked the Rams’ Sean Mannion at the two-minute warning, making Dumervil one of only two players to ever record at least a half sack against every NFL team.
