A 49ers documentary to support the fight against Lou Gehrig’s disease is available through Hawaiian-based 1000PlusVideo.
“Famous San Francisco Football Legends Take On ALS” is a compilation of interviews conducted in 1990 that covers the 49ers’ history through the 80s. The DVD features oral histories from former quarterback Y.A. Tittle, Bob St. Clair, Leo Nomellini, Bill Walsh and many others.
All profits from the sale of the DVD will be donated to ALS Association Golden West chapter and are earmarked for research into the causes and cures for the neuromuscular disease. The DVD costs $20 plus $5 for shipping/handling.
