ORLANDO - Colin Kaepernick didn’t vote in the presidential election and his approval levels probably didn’t rise after he recently spelled out his feelings on Fidel Castro.
The good news for the fledgling social activist: He’s doing well at his 9-to-5 job.
In fact, by some measurements, the 49ers quarterback has never been better. Consider: Since Week 8, he’s thrown for 1,110 yards and eight touchdowns, which are the best four-game totals of his six-year career.
In addition, he ranks second among quarterbacks in rushing yards (373) this season, despite making five fewer starts than Buffalo’s Tyrod Taylor (439).
