Colin Kaepernick officially signed Wednesday with agent Jeff Nalley of Select Sports Group. Over the past 15 years, Nalley negotiated $450 million of player contracts in the NFL and Major League Baseball. He has also helped his clients start their own chartible efforts including the Charles Tillman and Derrick Johnson foundations.
Nalley is a member of the Texas state bar association and has represented NFL quarterbacks, including Andy Dalton and E.J. Manuel. Kaepernick has been in consultations with Nalley for several months and now the Houston-based agent will likely try to find Kaepernick a new contract and possibly a new team.
