It's been a bit of wild up-and-down three-game stretch for San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey.
In the Niners' Week 7 win over the Atlanta Falcons, the three-time Pro Bowler racked up a season-high 201 total yards from scrimmage, going for a campaign-best 129 yards and two touchdowns on the ground while adding 72 receiving yards on seven receptions.
A week later, however, facing a tough Houston Texans defense, McCaffrey was held to a season-low 68 total yards in San Francisco's 26-15 loss. He tallied just eight rushing attempts, gaining just 25 yards, his lowest single-game total in seven years, and caught a season-low three passes for 43 yards.
