The San Francisco 49ers and their fan base may have their doubts at times about head coach Kyle Shanahan. But Week 5's Thursday Night Football victory against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium was a great reminder of how he stacks up against even the best minds in the NFL.
Sure, Shanahan hasn't won the big one yet, but he's made it to two Super Bowls with two different quarterbacks. He's also proven time and time again that he can take the most injured team in the league and make the most of them.
He did that again against the team's bitter NFC West foe this week, as he out-coached Sean McVay in every facet of the game en route to a thrilling 26-23 overtime win.
