Remember when the 49ers and Cowboys once dominated the NFL landscape? It’s hard to believe that for some of us that was 20 years ago. So for those who do remember those years, or want to know more about 49ers’ history, THE key player in that rivalry, Charles Haley. He just came out with a book, “Fear no evil: Tackling quarterbacks and demons on my way to the Hall of Fame,” tracks Haley’s struggles and triumphs during his quest for five Super Bowl rings with the 49ers and Cowboys.
Swapped to the Cowboys after the 49ers tired of him in 1991, the Cowboys quickly gained the upper hand in the rivalry, by winning Super Bowl titles each of the next two seasons.
