The workout videos suggested it, but everyone was still anxious for Carlos Hyde to confirm it himself: The foot of the San Francisco 49ers starting running back is back to full strength.
“My foot is feeling great,” Hyde told reporters on Wednesday with a big smile. “I’m good to go.”
The injury limited Hyde to just seven games in 2015. After resting the foot for weeks in hopes that it would heal on its own, Hyde ultimately underwent surgery in late December and was placed on season-ending Injured Reserve.
“That was tough,” Hyde recalled.
