Davis Webb is going to shock the world at this week’s NFL combine in Indianapolis. That’s at least what the Cal quarterback says, and some NFL executives and coaches apparently won’t be surprised.
“I think he will end up being the best quarterback of this draft class,” one executive told NFL Network.
Webb was the Most Valuable Player in January’s Senior Bowl and is projected as a third-round pick in next month’s draft. He led the South team to scores in each of the three series he played, a nice cherry on top of a 5-7 season at Cal during which he threw for 4,295 yards and 37 touchdowns.
