Former NFL running back Brian Westbrook, who was ahead of his tame, played his final season with the San Francisco 49ers in 2010. Westbrook was on Adam Lefkoe of Bleacher Report’s radio show and shared some stories about the legendary Frank Gore. None of his stories are surprising, but hearing professional players talk about Frank the way they do says a lot about Gore.
The first story Westbrook shares were when he first got to the 49ers, and he explained to Gore how Westbrook wasn’t there to replace him, but to give him a breather whenever he was tired.
