Terrell Owens almost seemed to enjoy hearing and responding to Hall of Fame general manager Bill Polian’s critique of him Monday.
The former 49ers receiver repelled Polian’s assessment that Owens doesn’t belong in Canton — and then T.O. dispelled the thought that he was outraged in a (sarcastic?) Twitter video.
“I think the Hall of Fames are for people who make their teams better, not who detract from them,” Polian told Talk of Fame Sports, in part. “What did Owens do that made his teams better? He put up a lot of numbers. Bill (Parcells) said that he was a disruptive force.
