The Bengals and the Dolphins waited weeks, but each team finally found its head coach.

After 16 years without a playoff win under Marvin Lewis, Cincinnati had to wait more than a month before hiring Zac Taylor as their head coach in hopes of ending a long streak of futility. Miami had to do the same, finally able to bring aboard Brian Flores, the New England Patriots’ linebackers coach and defensive play-caller, as head coach.
