Earlier today, we reported on Josh Robinson telling a Mississippi TV station that he was going to be joining the San Francisco 49ers. Turns out the TV station was a little confused. NBC Sports Bay Area reporter Matt Maiocco confirmed with Robinson’s agent that the running back is actually coming to the Bay Area to compete in the new Spring League’s latest showcase.
The Spring League is building towards a 2018 season, but in the meantime, they are set to have their second showcase of potential NFL players. They had a series of practices and a game in West Virginia earlier this year.
