It’s not deja vu: For the second time this offseason, the son of a legendary San Francisco 49ers wide receiver is being linked to his dad’s old team as a potential NFL Draft pick.
Terique Owens, the son of former 49ers star Terrell, is one of the players trying out at the team’s local pro day Wednesday, according to multiple reports. The 49ers have also been connected with USC wide receiver Brenden Rice, the son of Hall of Famer and Niners legend Jerry.
Terique Owens was born in Fremont while his dad Terrell played in San Francisco.
