San Francisco 49ers fans rejoice, the hated enemy has been vanquished!
The Niners toppled the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15, and potentially their playoff aspirations, with a 26-23 upset in overtime. This brings the 49ers to 4-10, and two wins in a row over playoff-aspiring teams, and a chance to form some momentum like last season.
More importantly, the 49ers played their most complete game of the season, and did so against a hated rival who had everything to play for.
Even more important, quarterback Nick Mullens continued his return to form and cemented himself as the sure backup when Jimmy Garoppolo returns from his ACL injury.
