A new project for ex-49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick: penning and publishing his memoir

Colin Kaepernick is going to need a bigger resume.

The erstwhile 49ers quarterback, social justice advocate, apparel and shoe huckster, face of the award-winning “Dream Crazy” Nike commercial, and recipient of the Amnesty International Ambassador of Conscience Award has a new gig now.

“I want to tell the story of my evolution, and the events that led me to protest systemic oppression, in hopes that it will inspire others to rise in action,” Kaepernick said in a statement.
