The San Francisco 49ers have been one of the busier teams of the NFL offseason. General manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan elected to re-sign several of their own free agents, including Trent Williams, Kyle Juszczyk, Jaquiski Tartt and Jason Verrett.
Lynch and Shanahan also dipped into the open market, signing Alex Mack, Samson Ebukam and tight end MyCole Pruitt.
The Niners also restructured some contracts and used center Weston Richburg’s retirement to help free up some cap space. San Francisco has roughly $17.6 million available per Over the Cap, but that figure will come down once the team signs all its 2021 rookie class.
