The San Francisco 49ers continue to give wide receiver Trent Taylor opportunities, and for the most part I think its paying off. It’s generally accepted that Taylor shouldn’t have been penalized for offensive pass interference and aside from that, he had a pretty good game.
The interception on the two-point conversion was a questionable throw and a questionable play-call, so it’s another thing I don’t fault him for. On Thursday against the Los Angeles Rams, Taylor was in for 39 snaps, a significant increase given he was under 30 snaps in both of the first two games.
