SANTA CLARA — Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders doesn’t sound like a veteran on the verge of missing his first 49ers game.
Although a rib injury forced him out of Monday night’s loss and kept him from the 49ers’ ensuing practices, his “questionable” status comes with optimism for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals. .
“It’s getting better by the day,” Sander said Friday. “I’m going to try to battle it out. I have muscled it out before, though.
“I don’t see it being that big of a problem, but if it is, I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do.
