49ers Super Bowl window opens after two years of Kyle Shanahan, John Lynch

The San Francisco 49ers‘ Super Bowl window is now open.

If the 6-0 start to the 2019 season wasn’t reason enough, the fact the Niners were buyers before the 2019 NFL trade deadline should tell you. This, after general manager John Lynch made the move for former Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders on Tuesday.

Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan have done yeoman’s work since taking over the franchise in 2017. Year one was tough, yes. But consider the fact Lynch and Shanahan turned over roughly 70 percent of the roster they inherited from 2016.
