49ers HC Kyle Shanahan announced that the team will continue starting QB C.J. Beathard over recently acquired QB Jimmy Garoppolo for Week 12’s game against the Seahawks, per Ian Rapoport.
Though 49ers GM John Lynch said on Tuesday that Beathard played well in Week 11 and could continue playing, he added that he believes Garoppolo “is going to be our guy.”
Lynch added that the team feels comfortable at the quarterback position: “You still study every position, but we feel pretty good about where our quarterback room is.
