49ers snubbed again as TE George Kittle named second-team NFL All-Pro

Two weeks after San Francisco 49ers defensive tackle DeForest Buckner missed out on his rightful spot at the 2019 NFL Pro Bowl, another member of the Niners was snubbed on Friday, as Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was named to the Associated Press All-Pro first team. 49ers tight end George Kittle won second-team All-Pro honors after his historic 2018 season.

The announcement was surprising given that Kittle set the NFL’s current record for single-season receiving yards by a tight end, and is the more complete player of the two, as the second-year star is also one of the league’s best blockers at his position.
