NFL Network reported that on Monday night that the 49ers signed safety Erik Harris to the practice squad. San Francisco made that move official on Tuesday. The team also signed cornerback Kemon Hall to the practice squad. The corresponding move was to release Henry Byrd.
Hall was an undrafted free agent in 2019. He was on the practice squad for much of the season, before signing with Minnesota in December 2019. In 2020, Hall was in the Vikings training camp, and was also on the practice squad for the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys.
