The San Francisco 49ers today announced they had signed OL Andrew Lauderdale, S Tyree Robinson and WR Chris Thompson to one-year deals. To make room on the roster, the team waived OL Christian DiLauro and RB Brandon Wilds and waived/injured WR Shawn Poindexter. We covered the Poindexter news yesterday.
Lauderdale (6-6, 291) originally signed with the 49ers as an undrafted rookie free agent on June 9, 2017. He was waived on September 1, 2017, and later signed to the team’s practice squad on November 7, 2017, where he spent the remainder of the season.
