49ers sign Malik Tuner

With Deebo Samuel apparently unhappy with how his contract negotiations are moving, the 49ers added another wide receiver to their roster.

San Francisco announced on Monday the signing of former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Malik Turner to a one-year contract.

Turner played collegiately at the University of Illinois, where he appeared in 46 games (35 starts) and registered 143 receptions for 1,804 yards and ten touchdowns.

Turner signed with the Seattle Seahawks after going undrafted in 2018. After two seasons in Seattle, he spent the last two seasons in Dallas.

Turner has appeared in 41 games (three starts) and registered 29 receptions for 414 yards and four touchdowns for his career.
