SEATTLE – The big news before kickoff here at CenturyLink Field?
Niners cornerback Richard Sherman and Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson exchanged a brief handshake and hug – initiated by Wilson – as Sherman caught up with Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin in the end zone during pregame warmups.
Sherman’s return to Seattle, of course, has been a major storyline leading up to today’s game at CenturyLink, where the 49ers have lost seven straight games dating to 2011.
In his first game as an opponent after seven seasons with the Seahawks, Sherman has had warm pregame conversations with Baldwin and linebacker Bobby Wagner, among others.
